Atmosphere Shift is a 10 week social and emotional basketball league for youth who are a part of the committed and non-committed populations of the Department of Youth Services.  These young people are either waiting for sentencing or are serving out the sentence they were given.  This basketball league works with the youth and their families to help assess the individual social and emotional needs.  The youth and their families are supported by onsite clinicians as well as community organizations which will help them transition into higher education and/or the workforce leading to career pathways.

This program began under the BPS Pilot Program Transition Hope.  With the assistance of the book Atmosphere Shift many lives were transformed.  We are excited to expand into more facilities.  Please click on the videos below for a glimpse into what we were able to do.
