Thank You!! To everyone who donated their time, their new & gently used clothing, toys, and meals for STARS Annual Community Service Day!  Each year we teach our student athletes to take ownership of their role in our community.  We ask that they pay forward what they have been blessed with.  Saturday, December 19, 2015 our student athletes and their families gathered and fed warm meals, gave warm clothes, toiletries, and small gifts to those of our community who were in need.  We would like to extend our sincere thank you to those who joined us in spreading holiday cheer and teaching our future leaders the life lesson of social awareness.

STARS Community Service

STARS teaches our student athletes social awareness by acknowledging that they play an important role in the community. We help them to understand that they are part of a larger team which includes their family, school, STARS, as well as the less fortunate in their community.

STARS fosters a spirit of reciprocity. We team up with our corporate and individual donors, student athletes, and their families to be the change that we want to see in our community which is the world.

Social awareness is nurtured in our student athletes with STARS    "Pay - it - Forward"  approach.  Whenever we receive donations we allocate 10% of the money towards social initiatives. We also write the names of our sponsors on the lunch bags that we give to those in need.

We hold a community service day twice a year in cooperation with the Elisha Project. In the fall we've gone into the heart of Boston to feed lunches to underprivileged community members in need. We've traveled to Far Rockaway, NY to bring warm lunches, presents, and warm outerwear to families affected by hurricane Katrina. This past December, we went door to door in the inner - city of Boston to hand out warm lunches and presents.
